FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is TRAIN-ER used for?
TRAIN-ER is a collection of educational resources designed for trainers, coaches, and HR professionals to support managerial transformation. Each booklet focuses on a specific managerial skill, based on the results of the MANAG-ER √3 test. The goal is to move from awareness to practical application.
Does TRAIN-ER replace a trainer or coach?
No. TRAIN-ER is a support tool designed to be used by a professional coach. It structures progress, provides relevant exercises, and helps to reinforce what has been learned during training. It does not replace human interaction, but makes it more effective and targeted.
Can TRAIN-ER be integrated into an existing training program?
Yes. TRAIN-ER booklets are modular and compatible with any management training course or training management program. They can be used as a basis for training, to reinforce an existing module, or as support for individual coaching.
What is the difference between TRAIN-ER booklets and other educational materials?
TRAIN-ER is based on concrete data: skills assessed via MANAG-ER √3. Each booklet is precise, targeted, and actionable, with content tailored to real-world situations.
Unlike generic tools, TRAIN-ER is part of a transformational training approach, not just a transmissive one.
What types of content can be found in TRAIN-ER?
Each booklet includes:
The challenges of the skill in question, concrete and contextualized examples, practical cases to work on alone or in a group, key tools for daily progress, coaching exercises to overcome obstacles.
How much time should be allowed for using a TRAIN-ER booklet?
It depends on how it is used:
● For guided self-study or individual training: 1.5 to 2 hours if the participant has already identified their areas of focus.
● For group sessions: 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the group, and longer if the booklet is used as the basis for themed training or group coaching.
Each booklet can also be used as a resource in a modular course.
Are there any formats that are more comprehensive than TRAIN-ER booklets?
Yes. The two books, “Le management à porter demain” (Management for Tomorrow) and “Le management à porter de main” (Management at Your Fingertips), cover all of the skills assessed in the MANAG-ER √3 test. These books provide a comprehensive overview of the managerial approach to be developed, accompanied by excerpts from illustrative exercises.
What are the prerequisites for using TRAIN-ER?
TRAIN-ER is based on the results of the MANAG-ER √3 test. Each participant must therefore first take the MANAG-ER test (10 credits). Each TRAIN-ER booklet is then available for 1 credit per targeted skill.
How can I obtain TRAIN-ER booklets?
1. Have an active Assess Manager subscription (e.g., GREEN for a coach, ORANGE for a company).
2. Give MANAG-ER √3 to the managers concerned.
3. Order the TRAIN-ER booklets in your interface, according to the skills you want to work on.
How many booklets are available?
15 TRAIN-ER booklets, each focusing on a key managerial skill (e.g., communicating a vision, making decisions, supporting change, managing tensions, delegating, etc.).
In what context should TRAIN-ER be used?
● Individual management coaching, group training on specific topics
● Post-assessment support (following the MANAG-ER √3 test)
● Training plan support (e.g., in addition to PROFIL-ER)
Internal modular courses
